DEFEATING THE DRONE THREAT
DSS Answers the Call to Action
With a combined 40 years of unmanned aircraft system (UAS) experience, 14 of those 40 solely focused on counter-UAS (C-UAS) and UAS Security, Brandon M. Youngblood and Brandon N. Eickhoff are very proud to introduce Drone Security Services, LLC (DSS). The primary objective of DSS is to usher in a new age of physical security strategy through the modernization of organizational security policy, procedures, and drone incursion response.
Traditional physical security infrastructure and technology have proven to be ineffective at preventing drone threats. From delivering illicit products, conducting terrorist style attacks and even incapacitating the most advanced weapon systems by merely flying near them. The most sensitive of facilities, assets, and personnel are no longer safe behind secured perimeters.
Unfortunately, federal law severely limits an organization’s ability to deploy even the most basic of drone detection and mitigation technology. However, regardless of industry, e.g. port or critical infrastructure security, military, State, Local, Tribal or Territorial (SLTT) Law Enforcement (LE), there are many proactive initiatives an organization can take to protect their facilities, assets and people from the drone threat. This is where DSS offers unique and unmatched expertise.
DSS CORE SERVICES:
- Comprehensive physical security strategy overhaul focused on addressing drone threats
- Analysis of current physical security technology and infrastructure
- Unbiased drone detection and mitigation technology and security infrastructure enhancement investment recommendations, in accordance with legal requirements
- Drone incursion response training and exercise support for security and non-security staff
- Security airspace regulatory coordination
- Organizational representation to Government Departments and coordination processes
